Sherlock & The Fades Win BAFTA 2012 Awards
Sherlock and The Fades scooped a couple of awards in the 2012 BAFTA Television Awards.
With Sherlock ineligible for nomination in the Best Drama Series category this year, the award instead went to The Fades. The BBC must be feeling a little awkward after cancelling the show now.
Andrew Scott beat his Sherlock co-star Martin Freeman for Best Supporting Actor as Moriarty. In a bit of a surprise, Benedict Cumberbatch did not win Best Leading Actor for Sherlock. The award instead went to Dominic West for Appropriate Adult.
In another shock, Sherlock also lost out on the the YouTube Audience Award, which went to Celebrity Juice.
Steven Moffat was honoured with a Special BAFTA Award for his work on TV including Doctor Who and Sherlock.
