ITV have announced that they will be releasing five Primeval ‘webisodes’ that fill in some of the gaps between the end of Series 3, and the start of Series 4.

After the disastrous mission to save Connor, Abby and Danny at the end of Series 3 failed, the ARC and its team faced massive upheaval. This series of exclusive 5 x 5 mins webisodes will uncover what really happened; see how the ARC was resurrected by new boss Philip Burton (Alexander Siddig), and how new team members, Matt and Jess, were selected. With a first look at the team’s new gadgets and a slick new ARC building, this is a must-see for any Primeval fan!

The webisodes will be launching on a brand new Primeval website that will bring a monstrous amount of new content to fans including a brilliant interactive quiz, in depth character profiles, a monster gallery – and also be the centre of all of Primeval’s social media activity.

Season 4 of Primeval starts New Years Day on ITV1. The first webisode launches on December the 22nd, but you can see a sneak preview below.
