Game over for Outcasts

If you’ve been enjoying BBCs Outcasts, then savour every episode from now as the show won’t be around much longer. The BBC have shunted the show to a late night Sunday timeslot due to falling ratings.

4.4 million viewers tuned in to watch the first episode last week, but ratings have dropped with each subsequent installment. Episode 4 saw just 2.6 million people watching.

Episode 5 will still air at 9pm next Monday 21st February, however the series will then move to Sundays at 10.25pm.

The move all but confirms that the show won’t see a second series. And it probably means that we can ‘look forward’ to more reality TV shows in future.

The final schedule:

Episode 5 – Monday 21 February at 9pm on BBC1
Episode 6 – Sunday 27 February at 10.25pm on BBC1
Episode 7 – Sunday 6 March at 10.25pm (TBC) on BBC1
Episode 8 – Sunday 13 March at 10.25pm (TBC) on BBC1
