As production begins on the fifth series of Being Human, the official site has teased what’s to come and promised it will be “nasty and chilling.”

After the fourth series concluded, the blog released a picture of a scroll containing the the words, “HE WILL RISE” seemingly hinting at the next villain.

An update on the site blog states: “I can’t give anything away (of course) except to say the calls for a new villain have been answered.”

“Bigger, better, bolder, braver and definitely more terrifying that anything that has come before.  Yes, season 5 is promising to deliver all the laughs and fun of season 4 but with a very definitely new and nasty, chilling edge.”

Series 5 will feature Tom (Michael Socha), Hal (Damien Molony) and Alex (Kate Bracken).
