Primeval returns in January 2011 with a seven episode fourth series of adventures on ITV1.

Despite the predicament our heroes found themselves in at the end of Series 3, regulars Jason Flemyng (Danny), Andrew-Lee Potts (Connor) and Hannah Spearritt (Abby) will all be back. Other returning cast includes Ben Miller (James Lester) and Ben Mansfield (Captain Becker). Laila Rouass (Sarah) will not be back.

The regular crew will be joined by a few new ARC recruits. They are; Ciarán McMenamin as Matt Anderson; Ruth Kearney as Jess; and Alexander Siddig as Philip Burton.

A six-part fifth series will air in the Winter of 2011.
