The BBC have confirmed they will be premiering new sci-fi drama Outcasts with a double bill of episodes over two days.

The first episode of the eight-part series will begin Monday 7th February at 9pm on BBC1. The second episode will follow on Tuesday 8th February at 9pm on BBC1.

Episode 1 Synopsis

A diverse group of individuals led by President Richard Tate (Liam Cunningham) forges a new beginning on another planet, but the pioneers struggle to escape the human pitfalls of love, greed, lust and loss. The arrival of the last known transporter from Earth signals fresh hope for the residents of Carpathia, and loyalties are tested as the head of Forthaven’s expeditionaries tries to break away from the settlement

Episode 2 Synopsis

Cass, Fleur and Jack venture outside the settlement to locate a missing survival shuttle, but soon find they are not alone in their search. Meanwhile, Stella and Tate are confronted by their old foe Julius Berger, and struggle to make sense of accusations made against him by a young woman from the transporter.
