The finale saw Alisha (Antonia Thomas) killed off and Simon (Iwan Rheon) stuck in an infinite time loop trying to save her. The question is, will they return in Series 4?

Speaking on her Twitter account, Thomas had bad news for fans: “I won’t be coming back for Series 4 but I can’t wait to see it! I’ve had an amazing time on Misfits – thanks so much for all the support.”

As for Simon, Rheon also confirmed his exit from the show.

He said on Facebook: “Thanks for all the comments and support. I’m so grateful for the opportunity that Misfits gave me and all the fun I had doing it. But I have left now and look forward to doing exciting new things. The show must go on!”

So it appears that this really is the end of Simon and Alisha’s story.
