Sky have announced that they will simulcast the two-hour season finale of Fringe.

The episodes – which will air from 9pm on the East Coast of America, on Friday, January 18th – will be simulcast in the UK at 1.15am (Saturday, January 19th). It will also air in the show’s regular slot on Wednesday, January 23rd, at 10pm.

Controller of Acquisitions for Sky Entertainment Channels, Sarah Wright, said: ”Fringe has a great, dedicated fan base amongst our customers and we are thrilled to be able to show them the much anticipated series finale at the same time as the US broadcast.”

Speaking about the forthcoming finale, Executive Producer, J.H. Wyman, said: “It’s definitely the biggest season finale we’ve ever had. It’s the most expensive…. It’s massive, really big. I wanted to go out like, ‘Wow, how did they do that?’”
